Tips for a Gluten Free Diet

To follow a gluten-free diet, you have to cook with fresh, unprocessed food. Fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, eggs, meat, fish and legumes are all naturally gluten-free. Other foods must be inspected by carefully examining the list of ingredients and the origin of manufacture to keep track of possible contaminant, for cereals in particular. Use the acronym BROW as a mnemonic to remind you of the five main sources of gluten: Barley, Rye, Oats, Wheat.
