Eat Local All Year-Round

There may be several reasons to buy local products: to help protect the environment; to support producers in our region; to enjoy better flavour and higher nutritional value. In fact, did you know that in North America, food travels an average of 2000 to 2500 kilometers before arriving on our plates? And, that in order not to be too damaged in the transport, some fruits and vegetables coming from afar are harvested before they’re ripe, making them less nutritious?

To help you choose local products year round, we have divided this page into 4 parts (one for each season).

Tastefully yours,

Cinzia Cuneo
